DYMON Organization is committed to providing and linking our families with available resources.

DYMON in the Rough (Dynamic Young Minorities of Nashville) has been awarded funding from United Way of Greater Nashville to assist individuals who have experienced wage loss as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Funds may be applied to rent and mortgage bills that are past due 35 – 60 days

 

Applications will be reviewed and processed in the order they are received. Individuals may qualify for up to $2,000.00 in assistance. Applications will be accepted until grant funds run out. All payments will be made directly to the vendor owed, and no payments will be given directly to individuals who qualify for the program. Application submissions do not guarantee funding.

Eligibility Requirements:

 

  • Applicants must have experienced wage loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the applicant must be able to prove wage loss.

  • Applicants must be a Davidson County Resident in Nashville, Tennessee.

  • Applicants must have a past due balance within 35 - 60 days past due. The Past due balances must be a result of the impact of COVID-19.

  • Applicant can request up to $2,000

  • Proof of delinquency must be provided and verified. The bill must be in the applicant's name. Only one application can be submitted per household.

  • Applicants must be willing to take one DYMON Cares family support services class.

  • Applicants must not have received funds for the COVID-19 pandemic through any other agencies in the last 90 days.

 

DYMON will use the Our Fair Share Nashville Preliminary Report of The Equity Alliance as one of our resources to prioritize individuals who should receive assistance.
